PMP® Exam Prep
A 2 or 3 day class to help PMP® candidates prepare for the certification exam for the Project Management Professional (PMP)® credential or the Certified Associate of Project Management (CAPM®) credential offered by the Project Management Institute (PMI.)® This class reviews the aspects of project management discussed in the Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK® Guide), 4th Edition, 2008, which is an ANSI standard and is the pre-eminent standard of project management processes throughout the world, as well as other material not in that resource that is needed to pass the test.
This course is lecture-based and includes vocabulary drills, practice questions and exam practices to prepare the student to sit for the PMP® exam, a 4 hour, 200 multiple choice question examination. The course covers all the formulas, terms and processes one needs to know to hold the requisite knowledge to be considered a certified project management professional, tips for applying for the exam, tips for taking the exam, practice questions, a detailed workbook and a resource listing for further study if needed.
The class can be conducted as an intensive 2 day program or as an extended 3 day program, recommended for those who have not had previous exposure to the PMBOK® Guide.
