Schoolhouse Consulting & Training is an independent consulting organization offering training, coaching and consulting services to people and organizations looking to stretch themselves. Our practice focuses on project management, product development and business analysis and the leadership, growth and teamwork it takes to excel in these areas. We help clients achieve effective project execution and control using formal project management techniques that are streamlined for easy and rapid use, but provide critical information for good decision-making, communication and stakeholder management. We have adapted these practices for clients in many types of national and corporate cultures and worked in a variety of industries including finance, telecommunications, energy, manufacturing, information technology, publishing, bio-technologies, health care and government.
Kathleen Donohue, PMP, CPC, CBAP
Principal
Kathleen Donohue has been a manager, project manager, consultant and trainer in various organizations, consulting firms and independently since 1987. Before that, she worked for various Wall Street firms in trading and operations as an IT manager, business analyst and project manager. She has taught and consulted around the world and worked with other renowned project management training organizations, including GriffinTate and The Lewis Institute, Villanova University, Millersville University and others. Ms. Donohue also taught at PMI SeminarsWorld and PMI e-SeminarsWorld for over 5 years.
Combining a rich variety of skills including professional coaching, knowledge of enneagram and other personality models, neuro-linguistic programming, emotional intelligence, and conflict management techniques with leadership knowledge and skills and a strong background in business and management, Ms. Donohue strives to provide a holistic view and application of project leadership to foster communications and understanding and enable her clients to achieve not only their project goals, but to enhance their meta-cognitive strategies and professional growth. Ms. Donohue is a graduate of Baruch College of the City University of New York where she holds a BBA in Human Resource Management.
